Hydrogen Park Adelaide (HyP Adelaide)Hydrogen Park Adelaide (HyP Adelaide) is a proposed 60 MW renewable hydrogen production facility planned at the site of SA Water’s Bolivar wastewater treatment plant. The project is designed to produce up to 850 TJ of renewable hydrogen per year, building on the operational experience of Hydrogen Park SA and Hydrogen Park Murray Valley.
Hydrogen from HyP Adelaide is intended to connect to the Adelaide gas network and support two planned priority offtake pathways:

Other potential applications for the renewable hydrogen are also being investigated, including the use of onsite oxygen and waste heat for industrial purposes. The project is co-located with a wastewater treatment plant and will connect to new electricity infrastructure, with strong high-quality grid connection potential via SA Power Networks (SAPN).
