Rebates to make it even easier for you to connect (and love) natural gas

Have you been thinking about introducing natural gas to your home? If so, now’s the perfect time, with Australian Gas Networks once again offering a range of generous rebates to help homeowners of existing build properties connect and enjoy the many benefits of a natural gas home.

If your home is already connected and you’re looking to add other new natural gas appliances to your set up, we’ve got rebates for you too.

How to tell which offers are for you

If you’re partway through the process of connecting to natural gas (or you’ve just connected and your gas meter has been installed for less than 6 months), look for the offers under ‘REBATES FOR NEW CONNECTIONS’.

If your property is already connected (i.e. connected for more than 6 months) OR if you’re reconnecting to natural gas, look for the offers under ‘REBATES FOR EXISTING CONNECTIONS’.

All rebate offers as listed below are for existing build properties and not applicable to new build homes.

The only exception is if you are a new build owner in SA. If this is your situation, we have an exclusive NEW HOME HEATING REBATE OFFER just for you.

How to claim rebates

It's easy to claim with these options:

Option 1. Contact one of our participating rebate suppliers. 

They'll do the work you need (e.g. supply and/or install your chosen natural gas appliance), and then facilitate rebate payments from us to you - easy! We have a network of over 500 participating rebate suppliers (gas fitters/gas appliance stores) for you to choose from. Use our online supplier directory to get in touch with suppliers closest to you.

Option 2. Claim from us direct. 

You can lodge your claim directly with us via our cashback website. You'll need to make sure you have everything installed and connected before you lodge a claim. Approved rebates will be paid as cashbacks via Electronic Funds Transfer - straight to your nominated bank account (so there’s no annoying gifts cards to fuss with!). Access our cashback website here.
