Love your dream home

If you’re an AGN customer in SA, NT, NSW or QLD who’s just built a new home (or perhaps you’re in the process of building?), did you know we have a select range of rebates on offer to help you feature natural gas appliances in your dream home? Until 31 December 2025, the following rebates are available to new build properties connected to AGN’s network in SA, NT, NSW and QLD. Further eligibility criteria and terms and conditions apply.*

The offer:

  • $600 when you install a new natural gas flued room heater (i.e. space heater, gas log fire, wall furnace) – appliance must have a minimum 4.5-Star Gas Energy Rating.
  • $750 when you install a new natural gas ducted heater – appliance must have a minimum 5.8-Star Gas Energy Rating (or have a minimum 5-Star Gas Energy Rating and zoning).
  • $750 when you install a new natural gas hydronic heating system with a high-efficiency condensing boiler.
  • $250 when you install a natural gas outdoor appliance (e.g. bbq, alfresco cookers, radiant heater).

Key T&Cs:

  • Promotion Period 1 January 2025 to 31 December 2025, Grace Period 1 January 2026 to 28 February 2026.
  • Eligible appliance must be purchased by the end of the Promotion Period (i.e. by 31 December 2025) and installed by the end of the Grace Period (i.e. by 28 February 2026).
  • Appliance must be fully installed and commissioned to qualify for payment (no rebate will be paid for a bayonet point). LPG appliances do not qualify, unless an eligible appliance type is converted from LPG to natural gas.
  • Rebates are not available to hot water systems or indoor cooking appliances installed in a new build.
  • Only available to eligible dwellings connected to the gas distribution network owned by AGN in SA, NT, NSW and QLD. AGN is the sole natural gas distributor in SA and NT. Customers in NSW and QLD should refer to this postcode list to double-check postcode eligibility.
